Shares of the following companies were among those making notable premarket moves in Friday’s U.S. stock market.

Intertek, Burberry lead London down

British stocks fall, with fashion group Burberry and product-testing firm Intertek among the worst performers.

Airline stocks were poised to end the week in the red on Friday after a volatile week. At last check, the NYSE Arca Airline Index fell 2% to 31.47 points with all but two of its components trading off.

Stocks opened lower Friday, the final trading day of the third quarter, following a weaker-than-expected personal income news in addition to a dismal manufacturing report from China and as investors continued to keep an eye on the euro zone.

U.S. stock futures fell Friday as traders prepared to close out what has been the worst quarter since the peak of the financial crisis.
